How to Insert an Email Signature Logo Using a Public URL

  1. Request a Public URL for your Logo from Grux
    1. If you haven’t already please provide Grux with your Logo in the following format:
      1. PNG file format
      2. With a transparent background
      3. Outlined in white
        1. For dark-mode compatibility
      4. Grux will then store this file and provide you with a Public URL
  2. Add the Logo to your Email Signature
    1. In Gmail - Navigate to Gmail > Settings > See All Settings > Signature
    2. Create a new Email Signature
    3. Click the ‘Insert Image’ icon
    4. Paste the ‘Public URL’ provided by Grux in the ‘Paste URL of Image…” box
      1. If you don’t have this, please request this from Grux
    5. Then Click ‘Insert Image’
    6. Click the image, and click 'small’ for the size option
      1. Or whichever size looks best for your signature

  1. Add a Link and Hover text to your Logo
    1. In your Email Signature - highlight the entire Image. 
      1. Click the ’Link’ icon and enter the following information in the fields:
        1. Name:
          1. The name you would like to appear when the user hovers over your Logo
        2. URL: 
          1. The link you would like the User to be navigated to when the click your Logo
            1. This is usually your website
          2. To note, if the fields are not displaying correctly, you can use the ‘tab’ key to switch between them
  2. Save and Test
    1. Click ‘Save Changes’
      1. Reload Gmail in order for the Changes to take effect
    2. Test your Email signature by sending yourself an email
      1. Fine-tune as desired
